You've Seen Me
|

 |
You've seen me,
Through rough times,
And tedious paths.
You've loved me,
No matter how little time I gave you,
And how little attention I paid.
You've seen me,
Cope with difficult tasks,
And accomplish great triumphs.
You've cared for me,
Even though I was utter rude,
And arrogantly harsh.
You've seen me,
Cry for the lost battles,
And broken relations.
You've heard me,
Talk a lot,
And sing songs.
You've seen me,
Do and say things,
And now you're ought to see me say,
"I've seen you love me and I love you too". |

The Impossible Just Takes A Little Longer
|

|
The very day,
I came to know it was your engagement day,
I was baffled and scared,
Though I knew you had a girlfriend, I never cared.
I just knew that I loved you,
But no matter what I will never say that to you.
Cause I knew you loved someone else,
And you would'nt care what somebody like me tells.
I know you are engaged to her,
And I wish you two live happily ever after.
But it makes it even harder for me,
To forget you, as the love is like an abscess in me.
I cried in silence for long long days,
Only I am aware how tormenting were the rainy days.
I thought it was impossible to forget you,
Cause I still am deeply in love with you.
A decade passed by,
Now I don't think of you as my love, my guy.
I am happily married to someone who loves me a lot,
What else can I ask for from God?
Now I know that difficulties takes a little time lesser,
And the impossible just takes a little longer. |

A Picture Of Me
|

|
Lying in my bare hands was a picture,
It was a picture of me,
It was a picture I liked to see.
It was a potrait,
With ocean deep eyes,
And with a dainty smile as serene as the skies.
It was a mirror,
Which reflected love and joy,
It reflected the bewildering teen years and even the zest for a
toy.
It was a tree,
With interlocked family ties,
And yes, the greifs of special good byes.
It was a watsh,
Which always ticked and announced the next deadline,
And it conquered the silences and even the roars with nothing
queer but time.
It was a door,
Where happiness always knocked standing at the threshold,
Where every day started with a fresh fold.
How vague was that picture?
That it always seemed amusing to know that it was a picture of me,
Though elusive it was a picture I always liked to see.

In the hands of the night
|

 |
In the hands of the night,
The moon lies silent,
Looking at his twinkling friends light.
When the world is wrapped in darkness,
The moon spreads a bleak light,
Helping the world to sleep fearless.
In the hands of the night, the moon lies,
And he sees some dreams,
Which he pours deep in everyones eyes.
He dreams different for everyone,
That is why a child dreams about a fairy,
And a teenager dreams about a special one.
Old aged people dream about a long life,
Married couples dream about compatibility,
And jobseekers dream about work without strife.
In the hands of the night,
The moon fabricated there dreams,
To bring hope and to bring insight.
And guess what? It worked good enough,
Those dreams brought happiness and hope,
And endurance to cope with the tough.
He gave the strength to carry on,
To aspire big and to dream big,
To hold on and to go on.
In the hands of the night,
The moon made us dream,
With the hope that we pass on to everyone, this bright candle of
light. |

Beyond The Boundaries
|
 |
We don't wear,
the same
clothes,
nor the same
shoes
and neither wear
the same hairstyle.
But we do walk
on the same
roads,
take the same steps
and sing the same
songs.
We don't live
in the same house,
nor do we speak
the same language
and neither do we
say the same
pledge.
But we do like
the same
people,
love the same
seasons
and adore the same
morals.
We are not of
the same
colour,
nor from the same
country
and neither from the same
caste.
But we love
the same
euphoria,
we respect the same
emotions
and we love the same
each other. |
